Crvena zvezda Telekom and Igor Rakocevic (191-G-78) ended their cooperation after only one year of Rakocevic playing in red and white jersey.

Igor Rakocevic was offered a place sporting director but the question is whether it wants Rakocevic at this time or even wants to play basketball at another club. One thing is certain, and that is to become Igor Rakocevic sports director of Crvena zvezda over the next year.
Number 8 in his honor will be permanently withdrawn from use in the Crvena zvezda.

Igor Rakocevic started his carrer in Crvena zvezda jersey, he also played for Buducnost Podgorica, Minnesota Timberwolves, Valencia, Real Madrid, Tau Ceramica (now Laboral Kutxa), Efes SK, Montepaschi Siena.
He won three Alphonso Ford prizes for best scoring player in Euroleague season (2007, 2008, 2011), He won win Yugoslavia World championship in Indinapolis (2002), Eurobasket in Turkey 2001 and have bronze medal from Bari in 1997 Mediterranean Games.He also won Yugoslav Basketball league with Crvena zvezda and Cup, with Buducnost Cup of Serbian and Montenegro, Spanish championship with Tau Ceramica, 2 cups with the same team and three Super cups, Italian championship with Montepaschi Siena and Italian cup with the same team.
