Dimitris Diamantidis (196-G-80) and Michael Bramos (197-G/F-87, college: Miami, OH) late triples propel PAO to victory in Barcelona. The Greek side tied the series after a thrilling 66:65 win. The series will move now to Athens. Panathinaikos Athens opened the game with 16-11. The Spanish side however took the lead in the second frame and after a 21-11 surge grabbed 32:27 halftime advantage. Panathinaikos Athens was too far to give up and won the third period 21-18. BRAMOS nailed three early in the fourth for 54:53 and Dimitris Diamantidiss long shot gave the guests 60:58 lead. FC Barcelona Regal replied with a late run and reached 64:60 with 1 minute to go. Another threes however from Michael Bramos and Dimitris Diamantidis brought the final victory. James Gist top-scored for the winners with 14 points and Michael Bramos netted 13. Dimitris Diamantidis delivered 10, while Stephane Lasme had 9. Juan Carlos Navarro (192-G-80) ended up with 20 points for the home side and Alejandro Abrines added 10. Erazem Lorbek brought 7, whilst Ante Tomic and Victor Sada notched 6.

Olympiacos - Anadolu Efes 71-53
Olympiacos registered the second straight win over Anadolu Efes at the EuroLeague quarterfinal series. The Reds stunned the Turkish team in Piraeus tonight to take 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series. Vassilis Spanoulis (193-G-82, agency: Beo Basket) finished with 15 points, 8 assists and 4 boards to pace the winners. Olympiacos found themselves trailing by two points after the intense first quarter 14:16. But the hosts picked up the tempo in the second frame. Olympiacos went on a 21:10 run in the period to gain a 35:26 halftime lead. Olympiacos maintained the advantage throughout the third quarter. They arrived at the final intermission up by 12 points 52:40. Pero Antic gave the home team a 62:41 lead early in the fourth frame and they cruised to the victory at the end. Kyle Hines (198-F-86, agency: Beo Basket) finished with 12 points, while Pero Antic added 11 points for the winning side. Kerem Gonlum (208-PF-77) answered with 13 points and 14 boards for Anadolu Efes. Stanko Barac had 9 points in the loss.

CSKA - Caja Laboral 90-68
CSKA made it look easy as they cruised to the comfortable home win over Caja Laboral in the second game of the EuroLeague quarterfinal series. CSKA are now heading to Spain with a comfortable 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series. Caja Laboral secured a strong start to the game. The Vitoria team went on a 26:20 run in the first quarter. But CSKA quickly stopped the rot. The hosts adjusted defensively and limited their opponents to just 11 points in the next ten minutes. CSKA ensured a 44:37 halftime advantage. More to come in the third term as CSKA stated their dominance. The home side rallied to a massive 69:50 lead at the final intermission. Caja Laboral struggled to get any closer throughout the fourth frame. CSKA coasted in the fourth frame and deservedly posted another win in the series. Nenad Krstic (212-C-83), Zoran Erceg (210-PF-85) and Sasha Kaun delivered 16 points each for CSKA. Teodosic added 14 points and 7 assists for the winners. Maciej Lampe (211-F/C-85) answered with 19 points and 6 boards for Caja Laboral. Fernando San Emeterio had 13 points in the loss.

Real Madrid - Maccabi T-A 75-63
Real made a huge step towards EuroLeague semifinals following the second straight home win over Maccabi. Real earned a comfortable victory in Madrid tonight to secure 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series. Sergio Llull (192-SG-87) came up with 26 points to pace the Spaniards. Real dominated from start to finish. They established an 18:13 lead after ten minutes of action. Real extended their lead in the second frame. They accumulated a 36:28 halftime buffer. The hosts stretched the gap in the third frame. Real accounted for a 56:46 lead with ten minutes remaining. Real did not slow down in the fourth stanza and completed a well-deserved win at the end. Jaycee Carroll (188-G-83, agency: Priority Sports) chipped in 14 points, while Nikola Mirotic had 10 points and 7 rebounds in the winning effort. David Logan (185-G-82, college: Indianapolis) answered with 19 points for Maccabi. Shawn James posted 13 points and 7 rebounds in the loss.

BC Khimki Moscow Region (VTB) signed 26-year old American power forward Thomas Robinson (208-109kg-91, college: Kansas, agency: GFSG). He played last season at LA Lakers in the NBA. In 47 games he had 5.1ppg and 4.7rpg. The previous (15-16) season Robinson played at the Nets in NBA where in 69 games he recorded 4.4ppg and 5.2rpg. In 2012 he was drafted by Drafted by? Valencia Basket (Liga Endesa) re-signed 31-year old Belgian international point guard Sam Van-Rossom (188-88kg-86). He has played there for the last four seasons. In 28 Liga Endesa games he recorded 5.4ppg, 1.4rpg and 2.1apg last season. Van-Rossom helped them to win the league title.
