Stelmet Zielona Gora gets ready for Euroleague debut as the team will start directly from the Regular Season. The Polish Champions will not need 2013-14 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Round and directly will start from the Top Stage.
Stelmet ZG became the new PLK champions. They swept the championship series against PGE Turow. Quinton Hosley (201-F/G-84, college: Fresno St.) fired 22 points and grabbed 8 rebounds to lead Stelmet ZG to the decisive fourth win in the series. Stelmet ZG exploded with 28 points in the opening quarter. They grabbed a 4-point lead at the first break. The hosts raised the pressure in the second term. Stelmet ZG established a 55:44 halftime lead. PGE Turow adjusted defensively and tried to change the complexion of the game in the third term. But the visitors cut the deficit by just one point trailing by 10 at the final break. Stelmet Zielona Gora opened the fourth period with five straight points and never looked back again. Walter Hodge (183-PG-86, college: Florida) delivered 16 points, while Oliver Stevic added 14 points for the winners. Russell Robinson (185-PG-86) responded with 22 points for PGE Turow. Aaron Cel netted 13 points in the loss.

American Point guard Erick Green (190-PG-91) put on an amazing game in the last round for Valencia, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 2. The 26-year old player was the main contributor (24 points, five rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Anadolu Efes (#13, 0-2) 78-71. Valencia - Anadolu Efes 78-71 Valencia Basket used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Istanbul 78-71 on Friday night. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Valencia Basket made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game.
