San Marino U18 - Wales U18 77:62
San Marino clinched the first win at the U18 European Championship in Division C. They knocked down Wales to improve at 1-1 record in Group A. San Marino will now face Gibraltar, while Wales will take on Andorra at the quarterfinal stage of the tournament.
San Marino poured in 26 points in the first period to take an 8-point lead after ten minutes. They boosted the lead in the second quarter. San Marino accumulated a 39:29 halftime lead. Wales responded with an aggressive defensive effort in the third term. The Welsh team cut the deficit at 7-point mark at the final break. But San Marino reacted with a 27-point tally in the fourth quarter and sealed the win at the end. Igor Biordi (200-C-96) netted 32 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the winners. Julian Gualtieri (188-G-95) added 23 points for San Marino. Joshua Reade (186-G-95) answered with 21 points for Wales. Samuel Roberts (187-C-95) had 13 points and 8 rebounds in the loss.

Group B
Andorra U18 - Monaco U18 61:77
Monaco clinched the top spot in Group B at the U18 European Championship. They knocked down Andorra for the second straight win at the tournament. Alessandro Generale (185-C-96) posted 22 points, 7 boards and 5 assists to lead the winners. Monaco advanced directly into the semifinal stage. Andorra will now take on Wales in the quarterfinal.
Andorra eked out an 18:17 lead after ten minutes. Monaco denied the deficit and pulled ahead for a 33:29 halftime advantage. The visitors made a decisive push in the third term. Monaco ignited a 21:9 run to accumulate a 16-point lead before the fourth period. The teams traded baskets throughout the fourth term as Monaco cruised to the victory. Daniel Pieper (185-F-96) and Clement Marechal (180-G-96) provided 16 points each for the winners. Jordi Moline (176-PG-95) answered with 16 points for Andorra. Juan Bustamante (198-C-95) chipped in 13 points and grabbed 12 boards in the loss.

Serbia clinch Gold in Slovakia - 2 months ago
FINAL Spain - Serbia 62-74 Serbia celebrated Gold medals in Slovakia. They topped Spain in the title game. Nikola Miskovic (207-G/F-99) posted 23 points to lead the champions. The victory marked the first Gold for Serbia since 2009. Spain eked out a 29:28 halftime lead. But Serbia stepped on the gas in the second half.
