Moldova U18 - Andorra U18 83:67

Moldova will play in the Final of the U18 European Championship in Division C. They knocked down hosting Andorra in the first semifinal yesterday. Vladislav Solopa (202-PF-95) continued his impressive performance at the tournament with 32 points, 19 rebounds and 8 assists for Moldova.
The visitors posted a 20:15 lead after ten minutes. Moldova unloaded 30 points in the second frame to gain a 50:24 halftime lead. Andorra tried to change the complexion of the encounter in the third term. They sank 26 points and cut the deficit at 15-point mark before the fourth frame. But Moldova nailed 18 points in the final stanza and escaped with the victory at the end. Vladislav Golban (195-SF-95) netted 20 points, while Vladimir Gaicean (202-C-95) added 17 points for the winners. Sergi Jordana (182-F-96) answered with 15 points for Andorra. Juan Bustamante (198-C-95) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds in the loss.

San Marino U18 - Monaco U18 74:70
Julian Gualtieri (191-G-95) nailed 26 points and pulled down 9 rebounds to lead San Marino past Monaco in the semifinal of the U18 European Championship. San Marino will now face Moldovan counterparts in the Final. Monaco will take on Andorra for Bronze.
San Marino eked out a 14:13 lead after ten minutes of intense action. They stretched the gap in the second frame. San Marino ensured a 33:31 halftime advantage. They maintained the lead throughout the third term. San Marino accumulated a 51:48 advantage heading into the fourth frame. They dropped 23 points in the final stanza to win the game. Igor Biordi (200-C-96) and Luca Giannotti (170-PG-96) knocked down 11 points each for the winners. Daniel Pieper (197-C-96) responded with 25 points and 10 rebounds for Monaco. Alessandro Generale (188-F-96) had 23 points in the losing effort.

Gibraltar U18 - Wales U18 60:56

Gibraltar clinched the 5th position at the U18 European Championship in Division C. They overcame Wales in the final game at the tournament. Jake Haefner (198-G-97) posted 18 points and 19 rebounds to lead the winners.
Gibraltar held their opponents to just 5 points in the first frame to gain a 16-point lead. Wales picked up the tempo in the second stanza. They cut the distance at 13-point mark at the interval 35:22. Wales cut the deficit by one more point in the third term. The Welsh team went on an 18:10 run in the fourth frame but stopped few steps away from the victory. Joshua Thomas (190-F-96) Yome (185-G-96) netted 15 points, while Timothy Fava (185-F-97) added 14 points for the winners. James Cameron (200-C-95) answered with 18 points for Wales. Joshua Thomas had 10 points in the loss.

Serbia clinch Gold in Slovakia - 1 month ago
FINAL Spain - Serbia 62-74 Serbia celebrated Gold medals in Slovakia. They topped Spain in the title game. Nikola Miskovic (207-G/F-99) posted 23 points to lead the champions. The victory marked the first Gold for Serbia since 2009. Spain eked out a 29:28 halftime lead. But Serbia stepped on the gas in the second half.
