San Marino U18 - Moldova U18 103:100 (OT)
San Marino survived an overtime drama in Andorra la Vella yesterday to clinch the European Championship in Division C Gold. They outlasted Moldova behind a fantastic performance from Julian Gualtieri (191-G-95). The guard nailed 54 points, issued 5 assists and grabbed 4 rebounds to lead San Marino to the historic success.
San Marino led by two points at halftime 43:41. They stretched the gap in the third term. San Marino ensured a 65:54 lead at the third break. But Moldova recovered well in the fourth stanza. They unleashed 37 points to force overtime. Moldova gained a 100:94 lead in the extra period. But Piva and Gambuti nailed four straight free throws and then Gambuti added five quick points as San Marino pulled in front for the victory. Igor Biordi (200-C-96) netted 19 points, while Andrea Giardi (192-C-95) added 12 points for the winners. Vladislav Solopa (202-PF-95) answered with 50 points and 11 rebounds for Moldova. Piotr Liulenov (185-SG-95) chipped in 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the loss.

Andorra U18 - Monaco U18 70:50

Andorra stepped onto the pedestal at the U18 European Championship in Division C. The hosts outgunned Monaco in the consolation final. Jordi Moline (172-F-95) led balanced effort with 14 points and 7 steals.
Andorra got to a strong start. They cleared off to a 22:7 distance after ten minutes. Monaco struck right back in the second frame. The visitors cut the deficit to a single point at halftime 29:30. But Andorra were back in control in the third term. They secured a 13-point buffer before the fourth period. Andorra kept Monaco at bay throughout the final stanza and rushed to the win at the end. Sergi Jordana (182-F-96) nailed 10 points, while Marc Iserte (183-PF-95) added 9 points for the winning side. Alessandro Generale (188-F-96) answered with 27 points for Monaco. Daniel Pieper (197-C-96) posted 7 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

FINAL Lithuania - France 68-75 France conquered Gold medals in Samsun. They defeated Lithuania in the championship game tonight. Frank Ntilikina (196-PG-98) posted 31 points to lead the winners.
