SEMIFINALS Turkey - Lithuania 64-68 Lithuania advanced into the Final in Helsinki. They rallied past Turkey in the semifinal clash. Martynas Sajus (207-C-96) and Ignas Fiodorovas (196-SG-96) had 17 points each for the Baltic side. Turkey secured a 24:16 lead after ten minutes. Lithuania cut the deficit in the next two quarters. SEMIFINALS Iceland - Greece 70-67 Iceland shocked the crowd in Chalkida as they eliminated Greece from the title race tonight. Kari Jonsson (190-G-97) came up with 29 points and 8 rebounds as Iceland advanced into Final and sealed their Division A birth. Greece posted a 37:32 halftime advantage. Quarterfinals Spain - Latvia 79-70 Spain fired past Latvia to pave their way into the semifinal stage in Helsinki. Francisco Alonso (190-G-96) posted 26 points to lead the winners.
