Belarus - Estonia 76-70
Belarus earned the home win over Estonia in the 2015 EuroBasket Qualifying Round semifinals. Aliaksandr Kudrautsau (190-SG-80) scored 21 points and grabbed 8 rebounds to pace the hosts. The teams will meet again on Sunday in Estonia. The visitors ensured a quick start to the game. They unloaded 25 points in the opening quarter and registered a 4-point lead at the first break. Belarus erased the deficit in the second quarter. The hosts held Estonia to 12 points and eked out a 40:37 halftime lead. Belarus stayed aggressive defensively throughout the third term. They limited the visitors to 6 points in the quarter and opened an 8-point advantage heading into the fourth frame. Estonai unleashed 27 points but just narrowed the deficit at the end. Mikita Meshcharakou (202-SF-88, college: Wake Forest) finished with 15 points, while Artsiom Parakhouski added 13 points for Belarus. Reinar Hallik (208-C-84) answered with 21 points for Estonia. Rain Veideman had 12 points in the losing effort.

Bulgaria - Switzerland 92-71
Bulgaria took a big step towards reaching 2015 EuroBasket Qualifying Round. They overcame Switzerland by 21 points in the opening leg of the semifinal series. The teams are scheduled to meet again in Switzerland on Sunday. Aleksandar Georgiev (203-F-90, agency: Interperformances) scored 13 points to lead the winners. Bulgaria dropped 25 points in the first frame to take an 8-point lead. Switzerland narrowed the gap in the second quarter. The visitors improved offensively and narrowed the gap at 3-point mark at halftime. Bulgaria increased the tempo in the third term. They fired 24 points in the quarter and recorded a 7-point advantage before the fourth quarter. Switzerland collapsed in the final term. Bulgaria dominated in every facet of the encounter throughout the final ten minutes and secured a comfortable victory at the end. Nikolay Varbanov (210-C-85, agency: Interperformances), Veselin Veselinov (201-F-83, agency: Interperformances, college: W.Virginia St.) and Kaloyan Ivanov (205-F-86, agency: Beo Basket) had 12 points each for the hosts. Dusan Mladjan (198-SG-86, agency: Beo Basket) and Clint Capela (205-PF-94) answered with 18 points each for Switzerland.

Nikola Jokic(209-C-95, agency: BeoBasket) met with Serbian national team head coach Sasa Djordjevic and announced him that he won't participate in the EuroBasket. As expected, Nikola Jokic(209-C-95) will not play at 2017 EuroBasket. Although Denver Nuggets' executives said they have nothing against Jokic's participation with Serbian national team this summer, 22-year-old big guy decided to cancel on Sasa Djordjevic's call-up.
