Svetlana Abrosimova (188-F-80, college: Connecticut), Olga Arteshina (188-PF-82), Maria Stepanova (202-C-79) and Elena Danilochkina (186-SG-86) out of the Russian NT training camp. The experienced players will not for the Russian National Team.
Alfredas Vainauskas announced a 17 candidate list for the Russian NT training camp. Epiphanny Prince (175-G-88, college: Rutgers) is the naturalized American player with the Russian passport. Epiphanny Prince received the Russian passport in 2010. Epiphanny Prince is currently playing for Dynamo Kursk. In 2012-2013 for Dynamo Kursk (Russia-PBL) she averaged 15.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.7apg, Steals-4 (2.4spg), FGP: 46.9%, 3PT: 31.0%, FT: 82.1% in EuroCup. Earlier she played for Galatasaray M.P. Istanbul (Turkey-TKBL) and in Euroleague showed 13.4ppg, 2.7rpg, 2.7apg, 1.9spg, FGP: 52.9%, 3PT: 35.0%, FT: 89.1%. In Turkish League her stats read11.3ppg, 2.9rpg, 3.0apg, 1.8spg, FGP: 49.2%, 3PT: 26.9%, FT: 79.5%. In 2012 played also for Chicago Sky (WNBA), and became the fifth top-scorer of the league with 18.1ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.1apg, 1.8spg, FGP: 45.6%, 3PT: 42.1%, FT: 89.9%.
Russia will be playing in Group B with Spain, Sweden and Italy.

France - Slovakia 67-40 France coasted past Slovakia en route to the semifinal stage. Valerianne Ayayi (184-F-94) registered 13 points to lead the winners. Russia - Greece 58-62 Greece shocked Russia to enter the quarterfinal stage. Styliani Kaltsidou (188-F-83, agency: ProDep Management) came up with 24 points and 9 rebounds to pace the winners.
