Croatia announced the Final roster for the Eurobasket 2013. The team will start their campaign against Lithuania on Friday.
Stipe Bralic announced the last two players that will not go to France. He thanked Josipa Bura (185-C-85, agency: IPSA) and Tea Buzov (176-G-90) for their contribution.
Josipa Bura currently plays Gospic Croatia Osiguranje in Croatia. In 28 A1 games she averaged 8.7ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.3spg this season. She helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. A very good season in her career as she was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Croatian League 2nd Team. Bura also spent pre-season at Celik (Division I) in Bosnia and Herzegovina league earlier that year.
Bura was also a member of Croatian international program for some years. She played for Croatian Senior National Team between 2007 and 2009 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2005. Bura represented Croatia at the Mediterranean Games four years ago.
Tea Buzov currently plays ZKK Rockwool Pula in Croatia. In 10 games she had 14.8ppg, 4.3rpg and 3.8apg this season. She helped them to make it to the Croatian Cup Semifinals. Buzov also played at ZKK Split (A1) in Croatian league earlier that season. In four games she recorded very impressive stats: 19.3ppg, 6.3rpg, 4.0apg and 3.0spg. She also spent pre-season at Lupa Promotion (A1) in Croatian league earlier that year. She contributed to her team making it to the Croatian Cup Semifinals.

Kiril Bolshakov (agency: Octagon Europe ) takes over Ukrainian National Team. The experienced 55-year old Ukrainian coach Kiril Bolshakov (agency: Octagon Europe ) returns from Italy where he coached Acqua Vitasnella Cantu (Italy-Serie A). Bolshakov replaced Holopov in the team. Earlier Kiril coached at Krasny Oktyabr, Dnipro and Zaporizhya. Bolshakov was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Superleague Coach of the Year back in 2010.   [read more]
