Czech Republic confirm Eva Viteckova (190-F-82)'s absence at the EuroBasket 2013 in France. The experienced player cannot help the NT players.
Eva Viteckova played almost half of her career for Brno. She left Frisco Sika after eleven seasons in Brno. The 31-year-old forward has decided to continue her career in USK Praha. Eva Viteckova won the Czech title for 10 times and celebrated the Euroleague trophy once playing in Brno. In 2010 Eva Viteckova tallied 15.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in ZBL. In Euroleague her stats read 13.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per appearance.
In 2012-2013 for ZVVZ USK Praha (ZBL, starting five) Eva Viteckova averaged 9.9ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.0apg, FGP: 54.9%, 3PT: 35.6%, FT: 76.5% in EuroLeague. Together with USK Praha she reached the Finals of the league that will start tonight against Brno team.

Serbia and Latvia to host 2019 EuroBasket - 21 hours ago
2019 EuroBasket will be held in Serbia and Latvia. Both teams will host two preliminary round groups each. The Final Stage will be played in Belgrade. The preliminary round groups will be played in Nis, Zrenjanin, Riga and Liepaja. Russia and Israel also bid for the EuroBasket hosting rights.   [read more]

France - Slovakia 67-40 France coasted past Slovakia en route to the semifinal stage. Valerianne Ayayi (184-F-94) registered 13 points to lead the winners. Les Bleues ignited a 21:6 run in the opening frame to clear off. They ensured a 39:24 halftime advantage. France held Slovakia to just 16 points in the second half and raced to the victory.
