Hackett
Daniel Hackett (200-PG-87, agency: Two Points, college: USC) will not help Italy at EuroBasket 2013. The player will not head to Slovenia together with the team.
He is a dual citizen owning also American passport. The last season he played also at Montepaschi Siena (SerieA) in Italian league. In 46 games he had 10.7ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.6apg and 1.2spg. He helped them to win the league title and they also played in the supercup final. Quite impressive season as he was named to Eurobasket.com Italian SerieA All-Domestic Players Team. Hackett also played 22 games in Euroleague where he recorded 7.2ppg, 2.3rpg, 3.0apg and 1.0spg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Italian SerieA Domestic Player of the Year in 2012.
Hackett has been also a member of Italian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Italian senior team since 2009 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2007. Hackett represented Italy at the Qualifications to European Championships 2013 last year. His stats at that event were 7 games: 8.0ppg, 2.4rpg, 1.9apg, FGP: 52.0%, 3PT: 45.5%, FT: 65.2%.
Hackett has played also professionally for other Italian teams like Benetton Treviso and VL Pesaro.

Llull out of action for seven to nine months - 10 days ago
The worst case scenario was confirmed in the first morning hours for Sergio Llull (190-PG-87). The Spanish basketball federation announced that the player suffered a torn ACL.
