Today is day for rest for Eurobasket national teams and this is the best time for recap of the first round of this competition.
Only national team who has no defeat is Italy. They win all five matches in Group D and with perfect score 5-0 go to the Second round.

From Group A, France, Ukraine and Belgium go to the Second round.
From Group B, Serbia, Latvia and Lithuania go to the Second round.
From Group C, Spain, Croatia and Slovenia go to the Second round.
From Group D, Italy, Finland and Greece go to the Second round.

In two new formed group will be playing :

Group E : France with 4 points, Serbia 4 points, Lithuania 3 points, Ukraine 3 points, Latvia 2 points and Belgium 2 points.
Group F : Italy with 4 points, Spain 3 points, Slovenia 3 points, Finland 3 points, Croatia 3 points, Greece 2 points.


And now, a little bit of statistic from this Eurobasket in Slovenia.

National team who was scored most points in First round is France. They scored 403 points in five games (80.6 average).
National team who received most points in First round is Russia. They received 400 points in five games (80.0 average).

In Group A total of 2.239 points was achieved - 149.2 per game

Nikola Jokic(209-C-95, agency: BeoBasket) met with Serbian national team head coach Sasa Djordjevic and announced him that he won't participate in the EuroBasket. As expected, Nikola Jokic(209-C-95) will not play at 2017 EuroBasket. Although Denver Nuggets' executives said they have nothing against Jokic's participation with Serbian national team this summer, 22-year-old big guy decided to cancel on Sasa Djordjevic's call-up.
