Latvia announced 12 players that will participate at 2013 EuroBasket. Ainars Bagatskis (agency: Alti Sport ) left Janis Timma (201-SF-92, agency: FCM) out of the final squad. So the following 12 players will travel to Slovenia:
Janis Strelnieks (191-PG-89), Janis Blums (191-SG-82), Dairis Bertans (192-SG-89), Rihards Kuksiks (197-SF-88, college: Arizona St.), Armands Skele (192-G-83), Kristaps Janicenoks (196-F-83), Janis Berzins (201-SF-93), Mareks Mejeris (208-F-91, agency: Players Group), Rolands Freimanis (210-PF-88), Kaspars Berzins (213-PF-85), Martins Meiers (208-C-91), Andrejs Selakovs (207-C-88, agency: Players Group).
Latvia open their EuroBasket campaign against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday. They will also face Lithuania, FYR Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro in highly-competitive Group B.

Lekavicius to miss EuroBasket due to broken foot - 2 hours ago
Trouble for the Lithuanian squad ahead of EuroBasket. Lukas Lekavicius(180-PG-94) has broken his foot, as reported by Donatas Urbonas and will have to miss the upcoming EuroBasket. He has left the training and his recovery time remains to be seen. Los Angeles Clippers guard Milos Teodosic(195-PG-87) will miss the 2017 Eurobasket Tournament, according to Eurohoops.net. Teodosic signed with the Clippers this summer, which represents the first team he has signed with an NBA team. The Serbian is known as one of the best passers in the world. His professional basketball career began in 2004-05, when he played one game in the ULEB Cup and scored four points. Greece's basketball federation has accused the Milwaukee Bucks and the NBA of hatching a plan to prevent Giannis Antetokounmpo(211-G/F-94, agency: Octagon Europe) from playing in the European championship.
