Rimantas Grigas announced the list of 21 players to start preparations for the upcoming 2013 EuroBasket. The list includes:

Alexandra Tarasava (170-PG-88), Natalia Anufryienka (174-G-85), Zhanna Horodetskaya (180-G-79), Nadzeya Yakovits (182-F-90), Nadzeya Drozd (174-G-83), Irina Chubkavets (184-G-91), Tatsiana Likhtarovich (180-G/F-88, agency: LBM Management), Nataliya Trofimowa (185-F-79), Katerina Snytsina (188-F-85), Ala Murauskaya (187-F-85), Volha Istseliatsova (189-F/C-88), Viktoryia Pantsiukh (185-F-87), Maryia Filonchyk (187-PF-92), Maria Popova (182-SG-84), Tatyana Troina (188-F-81, college: S.Carolina), Marina Ivashchenko, Marina Kress (193-C-80), Anastasiya Veremeenko (194-C-87), Leuchanka Yelena (196-C-83, college: W.Virginia) and Tatsiana Melnikova (188-C-87).

Belarus will play in Group D of the EuroBasket preliminary round. They will face Croatia, Lithuania and Czech Republic. Belarus tip off their campaign against Czech Republic on June 15th.

FINAL Spain - France 71-55 Spain are 2017 European champions! They overcame France in the title game in Prague tonight. Sancho Lyttle (193-C-83, college: Houston) came up with 19 points and 8 rebounds to pace the champions. Spain retained the Gold medals last won in 2013 EuroBasket edition. SEMIFINALS Greece - France 55-77 France joined Spain in the championship game. They rallied past Greece in the second semifinal today. Nwal-Endene Miyem (188-PF-88) posted 13 points to pace les Bleues. France grabbed a 23:17 lead after the opening quarter. Greece however stuck around in the second term.
