Vytenis Cizauskas and Adas Juskevicius are the last cuts for Lithuania - Aug 29, 2013

Vytenis Cizauskas (190-SG-92) and Adas Juskevicius (194-G/F-89) are the last cuts for Lithuania for EuroBasket 2013. Both players were thanked for their effort after the Acropolis tournament.
Vytenis Cizauskas played last time at Blancos de Rueda Valladolid in Spain. In 25 Liga Endesa games he averaged 2.6ppg and 1.0rpg last season.
The previous (11-12) season Cizauskas played at LSU-Baltai (LKL) in Lithuanian league. In 18 games he had 7.9ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.8apg and 1.1spg that season. He also played 20 games in Baltic League where he had 6.6ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1spg.
In 2010-11 season Cizauskas played at Nevezis (LKL) in Lithuanian league. In 12 games he had 8.6ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.4apg and 1.3spg. He also played 12 games in Baltic League where he had 6.0ppg, 2.9rpg and 1.8apg. He helped them to make it to the quarterfinals. Cizauskas also played atZalgiris-Sabonio (NKL) in Lithuanian league that season. In 23 games he had very impressive stats: 16.4ppg, 5.4rpg, 4.6apg and 1.8spg. He also spent pre-season at Zalgiris (LKL) in Lithuanian league that year. Cizauskas' team won Lithuanian League Regular Season in 2009.
Adas Juskevicius will play next season for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven in Germany. The last season Juskevicius played at Zalgiris (LKL) in Lithuanian league. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 19 LKL games he averaged 7.7ppg, 1.9rpg and 2.4apg. He helped them to win the league title. Juskevicius also played 13 games in Euroleague where he had just 2.3ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.0apg. He also played 25 games in VTB United League where he had 4.6ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.2apg. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals.
He has been also a member of Lithuanian international program for some years. Juskevicius was a member of both Senior and University National Teams this year and previously for U20 National Team between 2008 and 2009. He also represented Lithuania at the World University Games in Kazan (Russia) this year.
Juskevicius has played also professionally for other Lithuanian teams like Zalgiris-Sabonio and BC Kaunas Triobet.

Sergio Llull
Llull out of action for seven to nine months - 8 days ago
The worst case scenario was confirmed in the first morning hours for Sergio Llull (190-PG-87). The Spanish basketball federation announced that the player suffered a torn ACL. Spain started EuroBasket preparations - 20 days ago
The 16 players chosen by Spain's national team head coach, Sergio Scariolo, are in Madrid, where they started training camp ahead of upcoming EuroBasket 2017. La Roja will defend gold medal won in 2015. Spain will practice for 10 days before playing their first friendly game.
