Here is the weekly review of the top performing FYR Macedonian players, who play currently abroad.

Pero Antic
Pero Antic
#1. This week's number one is an international forward Pero Antic (210-82, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Greece). He led Olympiacos to a victory over the ninth-ranked Kolossos (6-14) 70-65 in the Greek A1 in Sunday night's game. Antic was MVP of the game. He scored 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 25 minutes on the court. Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (19-1) is placed first in the A1. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. This year Antic averages: 6.5ppg, 3.1rpg, 2FGP: 56.4%(22-39), 3FGP: 28.9% and FT: 73.0% in the 17 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: FYR Macedonian and Bulgarian. Antic is currently a member of the FYR Macedonian senior national team.

Bo McCalebb
Bo McCalebb
#2. Second place goes to an international point guard Bo McCalebb (178-85, college: New Orleans, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Turkey. He could not help Fenerbahce Ulker (2-9) in their last game on Thursday. Despite McCalebb's very good performance the seventh-placed Fenerbahce Ulker was badly defeated 87-67 on the road by the higher-ranked Caja Laboral (#6) in the group F of Euroleague. He was the top scorer with 16 points. McCalebb also added 3 steals. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Top 16. So now every game will be critical. McCalebb is currently third on the list of most steals. He has very reliable stats this season: 13.1ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.3apg, 1.8spg, 2FGP: 55.3%(89-161), 3FGP: 22.9% and FT: 82.0%. McCalebb is a naturalized American. He is in the roster of the FYR Macedonian senior national team. Strangely McCalebb has never played in FYR Macedonia.

Marques Green
Marques Green
#3. The FYR Macedonian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international point guard Marques Green (167-82, college: St.Bonaventure, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian SerieA. He was not able to help Armani Milano (14-9) in their last game. Despite Green's good performance Armani Milano was edged 81-78 in Cremona by the lower-ranked (#11) Vanoli. He scored 13 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 8 assists in 33 minutes. This year Green's overall stats are: 7.5ppg, 2.9rpg, 5.1apg, 1.2spg, 3FGP: 48.5%(16-33) and FT: 75.0% in the 10 games. He is a naturalized American. Green played for the FYR Macedonian national team three years ago. Apparently he has never played in FYR Macedonia.

Jeremiah Massey
Jeremiah Massey
#4. Forward Jeremiah Massey (202-82, college: Kansas St., currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Germany was not able to secure a victory for the league outsider Brose Baskets Bamberg (0-12) in their last game. Despite Massey's good performance Brose Baskets Bamberg (#8) was edged 89-86 in Istanbul by the higher-ranked (#3) Anadolu Efes in the group E of Euroleague. He scored 12 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 23 minutes. So far Brose Baskets Bamberg lost all twelve games in the Top 16. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Top 16. So now every game is very crucial. This year Massey's total stats are: 7.8ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.3bpg and 1.5spg in the four games. He is a naturalized American. Massey used to play for the FYR Macedonian national team back in 2009. Interesting that he has never played in FYR Macedonia.

International center Predrag Samardziski (215-86, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Adriatic League) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Buducnost (15-10) 79-63 in the Adriatic League in Saturday night's game. Samardziski recorded 7 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks in 20 minutes. Crvena Zvezda Telekom Beograd (18-7) is placed second in the Adriatic League. His team will play only one more game in the Adriatic League Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. Samardziski has averaged so far 5.5ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.2apg in the six games. He plays currently for the FYR Macedonian national team.

Vojdan Stojanovski
Vojdan Stojanovski

He recorded only 2 points in 10 minutes. BC Donetsk (21-15) is placed sixth in the Superleague. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. It's Stojanovski's first season with the team. Stojanovski has relatively good stats this year: 11.0ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.7apg and 1.1spg in the 29 games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior FYR Macedonian National Team roster.

Uros Vasiljevic
#7. Former U18 international forward Uros Vasiljevic (201-88, college: Kenyon, currently plays in Croatia) couldn't help KK Dubrovnik (1-17) in their game against Alkar Sinj (0-0) in the Croatian A1. Vasiljevic cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points in 20 minutes. KK Dubrovnik (#2) was edged 77-76 in Sinj by the leading Alkar in the Places 9-14 group. It was KK Dubrovnik's 14th consecutive loss in a row. The Regular Season already ended. Vasiljevic has averaged so far 4.8ppg and 2.5rpg in the six games. He used to play for the FYR Macedonian U18 national team eight years ago.

The list of other players, who all have FYR Macedonian passport but never been selected to any of FYR Macedonian national teams:

#1. Darius Washington (188-PG-85, college: Memphis, currently plays in France), who plays in the French ProA could not help Le Mans (13-10) in their last game on Monday. Despite Washington's very good performance Le Mans was defeated 66-60 on the road by the higher-ranked Chalon/Saor (#3). He was the top scorer with 17 points. Washington also added 5 rebounds. Washington has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 15.8ppg, 4.0rpg, 3.8apg and 2.3spg. Washington is a naturalized American. Interesting that he has never played in FYR Macedonia.

#2. Kennedy Winston (198-F/G-84, college: Alabama, currently plays in EuroChallenge) contributed to Gravelines-Dunkerque's victory against the closely-ranked Joensuun Kataja (3-3) 102-98 in the EuroChallenge on Thursday night. Winston scored 7 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group J. BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral (5-1) is placed first. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. It's Winston's first season with the team. He has averaged so far 9.8ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.8apg. Winston is a naturalized American. However he has never played in FYR Macedonia.
