The Second Stage in Prva Liga just ended.

The most exciting game of round 10 in the Prva Liga took place in Skopje. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Fersped-Rabotnicki (5-5) to fifth ranked Kumanovo 2009 (4-6) 83-82 on Wednesday evening. 24 personal fouls committed by Fersped-Rabotnicki helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International guard Aleksandar Kostoski (186-88) scored 21 points, 6 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Anthony Lee-Ingram (195-88, college: Brescia, KY, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American-Somalian forward Mohammed Abukar (208-85, college: San Diego St., agency: Two Points) responded with 24 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Kumanovo 2009 moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Feni Indistrija. Fersped-Rabotnicki at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost.
Very important is a home loss of second ranked Feni Indistrija (4-6) against sixth ranked MZT Skopje (9-1) on Wednesday night. Host Feni Indistrija unexpectedly was defeated by in Kavadarci 82-93. The former international Gjorji Cekovski (203-79) notched 24 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and Todor Gecevski supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Feni Indistrija's coach Miodrag Kadija rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. MZT Skopje have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader.
