  follow us on Facebook Twitter

We bring you last week's top performances from FYR Macedonians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Bo McCalebb
Bo McCalebb
#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Bo McCalebb (178-85, college: New Orleans, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL. He could not help Fenerbahce Ulker (18-3) in their last game. Despite McCalebb's very good performance Fenerbahce Ulker lost 73-81 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#10) Tofas. He was the top scorer with 21 points in 29 minutes on the court. It was Fenerbahce Ulker's first loss after six consecutive victories. McCalebb has relatively good stats this year: 12.8ppg, 2.3rpg, 3.1apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 51.5%, 3FGP: 48.3%(14-29) and FT: 86.3% in the 15 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. McCalebb is currently a member of the FYR Macedonian senior national team. Strangely he has never played in FYR Macedonia.

Jeremiah Massey
Jeremiah Massey
#2. Second place goes to former international forward Jeremiah Massey (202-82, college: Kansas St., currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German BBL. Massey was not able to help Brose Baskets Bamberg (21-4) in their last game. Despite his good performance the league leader Brose Baskets Bamberg lost 97-104 in Hagen to the much lower-ranked (#11) Phoenix. Massey scored 14 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 30 minutes. It's Massey's first season with the team. This year he has relatively solid stats: 11.8ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.8apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 62.5%(25-40), 3FGP: 29.0% and FT: 78.4% in the nine games. Massey is a naturalized American. He played for the FYR Macedonian national team in 2009. Apparently Massey has never played in FYR Macedonia.
