The Regular Season in SM-sarja just ended.

The most exciting game of round 36 in the SM-sarja took place in Jyvaskyla. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Torpan Pojat (17-13) to sixth ranked HoNsU (17-13) 83-81 in the game for the fifth place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Torpan Pojat. Torpan Pojat trailed by 16 points after 3 quarters before a 28-14 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 81-83 at the end of the game. HoNsU made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. It was a good game for American point guard Nia Jackson (170-89, college: Oregon, agency: Gamble Sports Management) who led her team to a victory with 20 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import guard Brandi Davis (183-83, college: Oregon) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners.
