Jeb Ivey
32-year old guard Jeb Ivey (190-G-80) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Nilan Bisons and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 41.
He got a double-double of 18 points and 12 assists, while his team beat LrNMKY (#7, 17-22) 89-76. It allowed Nilan Bisons to consolidate first place in the Finnish league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Nilan Bisons has a very solid 31-9 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. It's Ivey's second year at Nilan Bisons and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Portland State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ivey is in league's top in assists (3rd best: 5.4apg) and averages solid 54.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jason Conley (196-G-81, agency: Warren Sports International) of LrNMKY. He is American guard in his first season at LrNMKY. In the last game Conley recorded impressive double-double of 32 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as LrNMKY lost that game 76-89 to the higher-ranked Nilan Bisons (#1, 31-9). LrNMKY managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 17-22 record. Conley is a newcomer at LrNMKY and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.8ppg (#1). He also registered 9.9 boards per game. Former University of Missouri star Conley is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to another Nilan Bisons' star - guard Martin Zeno (196-G-85). Zeno scored 25 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He was another key player of Nilan Bisons, helping his team with a 95-84 win against #3 ranked Kataja in a game of the week. Nilan Bisons confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 31 victories and 9 lost games. Zeno has a great season in Finland. After 40 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.2ppg (3rd best) and assists with 4.1apg (8th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Andrais Thornton (203-F-85) of FoKoPo - 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Carl Lindbom (206-F-91) of Pyrinto - 22 points and 5 rebounds
6. Emmanuel Holloway (185-G-86) of Namika Lahti - 26 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists
7. Jordan Hasquet (206-F-85) of Namika Lahti - 24 points and 8 rebounds
8. Petri Virtanen (183-PG-80) of Kataja - 22 points, 2 rebounds and 8 assists
9. Devonne Giles (203-F-83) of KTP - 20 points and 7 rebounds
10. Antwine Williams (192-F-75) of KTP - 19 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
