Lyon - Bourges 59-69

Bourges shot down Lyon away from home to take the lead in the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Bourges. Lyon was better in third quarter 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-18 charity shots (94.4 percent) during the game. International center Emmeline Ndongue (192-83) stepped up and scored 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and international Nwal-Endene Miyem (188-88) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Bourges players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Danielle Page (188-86, college: Nebraska) responded with 15 points and the other American import center Mistie Mims (191-83, college: Duke) scored 14 points. Lyon's coach Laurent Buffard rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Lattes Montpellier stepped closer to the Final with a road win over Perpignan. After very bad start, Perpignan stormed back in the second period cutting the deficit to 3 points 42-39. But it was not enough and Lattes Montpellier took back the control in second half. The former international forward Geraldine Robert (183-80) fired 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Fatimatou Sacko (177-85) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Diandra Tchatchouang (186-91, college: Maryland) produced 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Laina Badiane (183-85) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Five Lattes Montpellier and four Perpignan players scored in double figures.

Nantes grabbed the lead in the classification series for 5-8 places. They overcame visiting Landes in the opener. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 40-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. DR Congolese center Bernadette Ngoyisa (195-82) nailed 9 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Latvian forward Gunta Basko (181-80, college: Siena, agency: Josep and Nicolas) accounted for 11 points. Nantes Reze's coach Emmanuel Coeuret used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American center Jennifer Humphrey (191-84, college: Kentucky, agency: Josep and Nicolas) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and American-Dominican Carmen Guzman (172-85, college: UAB, agency: Merit Sports) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Basket Landes in the defeat.

Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Paoline Salagnac (176-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. American forward Angelica Robinson (197-87, college: Georgia) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds for the winners.
