60-year old coach Alain Weisz left Olympique Antibes (ProB). Weisz's team made it to the French La Semaine des As Cup Final Four in 2008. He was coaching French Senior National Team between 2000 and 2003. Weisz has coached previously another French team Le Mans.

Angers Etoile d'Or St-Leonard (NM2) tabbed 32-year old naturalized Algerian point guard Ahmed Fellah (180-81). He started the season at Angers BC 49 (NM1). In 26 games he averaged 5.6ppg, 3.2rpg, 5.1apg and 1.3spg this season. The last season Fellah played also at Angers BC 49 (NM1). In 24 games he had 4.2ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.8apg and 1.0spg. Among other achievements he won French NM1 championship title in 2011. Fellah was selected to French ProA All-Star Game back in 2007. He represented France at the Pan Arab Games eight years ago. Fellah has played previously for six other France teams: Cholet, Besancon, Saint-Etienne, Bordeaux, JSF Nanterre and Entente Orleans 45.

Nanterre surprised Chalon away from home to pull ahead in the series. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 18-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. JSF Nanterre shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 66.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman David Lighty (195-88, college: Ohio St.) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Guard Trenton Meacham (188-85, college: Illinois) contributed with 11 points and 7 assists for the winners.
