Ricardo
Greer
34-year old swingman Ricardo Greer (197-F/G-78) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Strasbourg and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 25.
He had a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds, while his team outclassed Boulazac (#16, 7-18) with 32-point margin 100-68. Strasbourg maintains the 2nd position in French league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Strasbourg will need more victories to improve their 17-8 record. In the team's last game Greer had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Strasbourg, through which he has constantly improved. University of Pittsburgh graduate has very impressive stats this year. Greer is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 7.7rpg), assists (5th best: 5.1apg) and averages solid 55.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Cam Long (193-G-88, agency: KMG Sports Management) of Le Mans. He is American guard in his first season at Le Mans. In the last game Long recorded impressive 27 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he lead Le Mans to another comfortable win 86-73 over the lower-ranked Le Havre (#11, 11-14) being unquestionably team leader. Le Mans' 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 15-10 record is not bad at all. Long is a newcomer at Le Mans and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Anthony Dobbins (194-G-81) of Poitiers (#15). Dobbins showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the last round. He was a key player of Poitiers, leading his team to a 69-62 win against the higher-ranked Dijon (#10, 12-13). The chances of Poitiers not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 17 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Dobbins could try to bring Poitiers' a little bit higher in the standings. Dobbins has individually a great season in France. After 25 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 6.9rpg (7th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Sean May (206-F-84) of Paris-Levallois - 28 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Edwin Jackson (191-G-89) of ASVEL - 20 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Aymeric Jeanneau (187-PG-78) of Strasbourg - 14 points, 4 rebounds and 9 assists
7. Marcellus Sommerville (200-F-82) of Nancy - 17 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Bernard King (196-G-81) of Le Havre - 33 points and 4 assists
9. Pape Sy (201-G/F-88) of Le Mans - 19 points and 3 rebounds
10. Ousmane Camara (202-C-89) of Gravelines - 11 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
