Jeremiah
Wood
American Jeremiah Wood (200-C/F-85, agency: Court Side) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Evreux and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com ProB Player of the Week award for round 27.
The 27-year old had a double-double of 29 points and twelve rebounds, while his team beat Bordeaux (#17, 7-20) 102-97. Evreux maintains the 2nd position in French ProB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Evreux will need more victories to improve their 20-7 record. It's Wood's second year at Evreux and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Wood has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.1ppg) and averages solid 65.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 23-year old American forward John Flowers (200-F-89, agency: KMG Sports Management) of Denain. Flowers impressed basketball fans with 37 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he lead Denain to another comfortable win outscoring the higher-ranked Le Portel (#4, 18-9) 84-63. This victory allowed Denain to move up to 14th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 9-18 record. Flowers is a newcomer at Denain and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.6ppg (#2). He also registered 6.7 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Justin Burrell (206-F-88) of Chalons-Reims (#3). Burrell showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, thirteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Chalons-Reims, leading his team to a 96-74 easy win against the lower-ranked Charleville (#18, 5-22). Chalons-Reims needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 18 victories and 9 lost games. Burrell has a very solid season. In 27 games in France he scored 12.9ppg. He also has 7.3rpg and FGP: 65.1%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Wendell McKines (198-F-88) of Rouen - 20 points and 12 rebounds
5. Errick Craven (188-G-83) of St Vallier - 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists
6. LaMarshall Corbett (190-G-88) of Nantes - 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Mouhammadou Jaiteh (206-C-94) of Boulogne - 21 points and 12 rebounds
8. Alexis Tanghe (208-F/C-90) of Bourg - 23 points and 12 rebounds
9. Clevin Hannah (180-PG-87) of Evreux - 20 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists
10. Abdoulaye Loum (210-F-91) of Boulogne - 21 points and 10 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
