Milutin
Aleksic
AS Monaco Basket (NM1) landed 31-year old Serbian forward Milutin Aleksic (203-82). He started the season at Proteas Danoi AEL Limassol in Cypriot Division A. In 16 games he averaged impressive 17.9ppg, 7.4rpg, 5.0apg and 1.0spg this season. The most of last season Aleksic spent at PAOK Thessaloniki (A1) in Greek league. In 15 games he had 5.9ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.9apg. He helped them to make it to the Greek Cup Semifinals. Aleksic also spent pre-season at Panionios (A1) in Greek league earlier that year.
The previous (10-11) season he played at Petrolina AEK Larnaca (Division A) in Cyprus. In 5 games he had very remarkable stats: 16.4ppg, 7.8rpg, 3.2apg and 1.2spg.
In 2009-10 season Aleksic was tested by BC Donetsk (Superleague) in Ukraine. The team played in four different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 10 Superleague games he had 4.6ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.7apg. Aleksic also played 6 games in EuroChallenge where he had 4.2ppg and 2.2rpg. He also played 1 game in Eurocup where he recorded 4 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist. And finally Aleksic played 5 games in VTB United League where he had 4.0ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.6apg and 1.0spg.
In 2008-09 season he played at ASK Riga (LBL) in Latvian league. The team played in three different competitions that year, and Aleksic was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 5 LBL games he had 13.6ppg, 6.0rpg, 4.0apg and 2.0spg. He also played 6 games in Eurocup where he had 10.5ppg, 5.8rpg, 3.2apg and 1.0spg. Aleksic also played 8 games in Baltic League where he had 6.9ppg, 5.9rpg (#5 in the league), 2.0apg and 1.0spg.
Among other achievements he played in the final of Ukrainian Superleague in 2009. Aleksic received also Eurobasket.com All-Cyprus League Honorable Mention award in 2011.
He has played previously professionally in Belgium (Spirou Charleroi) and Serbia (Vrsac).
Let's have closer look into Aleksic's outlook: Young and according to his age he is an extremely perspective player. He can play at the positions 1-2, but with accent at the playmaker position. He has an enormous basketball potential, tehnically and tactically very trained player.
