The Regular Season in ProB is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds.

Round 30 in ProB means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Antibes where host Olympique Antibes (18-12) beat league's leader Pau-Lacq-Orthez (22-8) 82-71 on Saturday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Olympique Antibes. Pau-Lacq-Orthez managed to win fourth quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Olympique Antibes looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import swingman Anthony Hilliard (193-86, college: Elizabeth City) chipped in 19 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was David Denave (195-85) who recorded 24 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Olympique Antibes have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Fos Ouest and Rouen. Pau-Lacq-Orthez at the other side still keeps top position with eight games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Evreux who have the same record. Pau-Lacq-Orthez will play next round against SPO Rouen trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Olympique Antibes will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked JL Bourg on the road.
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked ALM Evreux as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Pau-Lacq-Orthez) loss. ALM Evreux smashed 9th ranked JL Bourg at home 92-61. It was a good game for center Garry Florimont (203-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Steeve Ho You Fat contributed with 10 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks for the winners. American swingman Jason Forte (196-84, college: S.Mississippi) replied with 28 points and 8 rebounds for JL Bourg. JL Bourg's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Pau-Lacq-Orthez. JL Bourg at the other side keeps the ninth place with 14 games lost. JL Bourg will play next round against Olympique Antibes trying to get back on the winning streak. ALM Evreux will try to continue on its current victory against fourteenth ranked Denain Voltaire on the road.
