Czech Republic rout Georgia in Celje at the 2013 EuroBasket. They needed a 95:79 win for 2-2 record. Georgia meanwhile fell at 1-3 record in Group C.
Czech Republic started the game with a 26-15 lead and never looked behind. Jan Vesely (211-F-90) scored for 39:20, while David Jelinek (194-SG-90) made 45:22 advantage for his team. Georgia managed to reduce the gap a bit before the halftime as Georgi Tsintsadze (192-PG-86) closed the half at 54:35. Manuchar Markoishvili (196-SF-86) cut it to 15 midway through the third period, but Georgia could not catch up with the opponents. Czech Republic posted a 21-19 rally in the third period and did not mind a 20-25 run in the last stanza.
Jan Vesely erupted with 27 points and Tomas Satoransky (201-PG-91) followed him with 20. David Jelinek notched 11, whilst Pavel Pumprla (198-SG-86) had 10. Georgi Tsintsadze and Manuchar Markoishvili netted 20 points in defeat, whilst Giorgi Shermadini (216-C-89) had 18. Viktor Sanikidze (203-F-86) poured in 10 points for Georgian team.

Mgzavrebi lands Deron Powers - 20 hours ago
Mgzavrebi-Armia Tbilisi (Superleague) landed 25-year old American guard Deron Powers (183-77kg-92). He just graduated from Hofstra (NCAA). In 32 games he averaged 13.0ppg, 2.3rpg and 5.2apg last season. As mentioned above Powers is just out of the college and it will be his first season in pro basketball. Rustavi adds Cooper to their roster, ex KW Titans - 3 days ago
BC Rustavi 1991 (Superleague) added to their roster American forward Paul Cooper (203-119kg, college: Arkansas Tech). He played last season at KW Titans in Canadian NBL, but was released by the team in Mar.'17. In 24 NBL Canada games he recorded 8.3ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.1apg. Part of previous (2016) summer Cooper spent at Atletico Tabare in Uruguayan Ascenso where in 5 games he averaged 12.8ppg, 11.0rpg, 1.0spg and 1.0bpg in 2016 season. BC Rustavi 1991 (Superleague) signed 23-year old American guard Brian Bernardi (188-88kg-94, college: Hofstra, agency: Mansfield and Associates). He already started the season at NH Ostrava in NBL league in Czech Republic. In three games he had 8.0ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.3apg this season.
