Estonian U16 National Team continued their preparations for the upcoming European Championship. They defeated the Georgian counterparts in the exhibition clash. Siim Post (182-G-97) nailed 15 points, grabbed 6 boards and issued 5 assists for the winners.
Georgia led by a single point after ten minutes of action. But Estonia went on a 25:7 run in the second frame to ensure a 44:27 halftime advantage. Estonia boosted the gap in the third term. They accumulated a 59:39 advantage before the fourth frame. Estonia and Georgia traded baskets throughout the final stanza as the hosts cruised to the victory. Robert Valge (187-SF-97) and Ken Kuber (183-SG-97) delivered 14 points each for Estonia. Willy Isiani (195-PF-97) answered with 15 points and 15 boards for Georgia. Giorgi Gogoberishvili (187-SG-97) chipped in 11 points in the loss.

Miasto Szkla Krosno (PLK) signed 25-year old American power forward Peter Alexis (213-113kg-92, college: Thomas Jefferson). He will replace Devante Wallace who just left the team. Alexis played last season at Arena-76 in Georgian A League. In 15 games he was fourth best scorer with impressive 19.5ppg and averaged 11.8rpg (#2 in the league), 1.1apg and 1.1bpg. Dinamo Tbilisi - Kutaisi 88-70 Dinamo Tbilisi won the SuperCup 2017 beating Kutaisi 88-70. Both teams started strong and showed their readiness for the upcoming season that will start on October 14th. Last season SuperLeague champion Dinamo posted an 18-17 lead in the first period and added massive 26-13 surge n the second frame.
