Kutaisi - Dinamo 86-77 Kutaisi conquer Cup title in Georgia for the first trophy of the season. They overcame Dinamo 86-77 with a strong first period. Kutaisi dominated the start and grabbed a 26-9 lead after 10 minutes. Moreover they won the second frame 26-25 and enjoyed a 52-34 halftime advantage. American Center John Florveus (211-C-90) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Cactus Tbilisi, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 28. The Regular Season in Superleague just ended. The most shocking disappointment of round 28 was a home defeat of 3rd ranked Energy Invest (13-15) to fourth ranked Cactus Tbilisi (14-14) 77-71 in the game for the third place. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 31-20. But Energy Invest won second period 19-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
