Giorgi Shermadini
Giorgi Shermadini
#1. This week's number one is an international center Giorgi Shermadini (216-89, currently plays in Greece). Shermadini led Olympiacos to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Aris (9-12) 84-68 in the Greek A1 last Monday. He scored 13 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (20-1) is placed first in the A1. It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. This season Shermadini averages: 4.8ppg, 2.2rpg, 2FGP: 61.9%(13-21) and FT: 85.0%. He is currently a member of the Georgian senior national team.

Georgi Tsintsadze
Georgi Tsintsadze
#2. Second place goes to an international point guard Georgi Tsintsadze (192-86, currently plays in Ukraine). Tsintsadze led Budivelnyk to a 3-point victory over the closely-ranked Mykolaiv (6-6) 76-73 in the Ukrainian Superleague on Friday night. He was MVP of the game. Tsintsadze scored 21 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 34 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Budivelnyk Kyiv (28-10) is placed first in the Superleague. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Tsintsadze's overall stats are: 8.1ppg, 2.9rpg, 3.9apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 44.6%, 3FGP: 29.6% and FT: 75.9% in the 38 games he played so far. He is in the roster of the Georgian senior national team.

Corey Fisher
Corey Fisher
#3. The Georgian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Corey Fisher (186-88, college: Villanova, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish ACB. Fisher could not help FIATC Joventut (13-13) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance FIATC Joventut was edged 71-68 on the road by the lower-ranked CB Canarias (#12). Fisher was the top scorer with 28 points. He also added 4 rebounds. It's Fisher's first season with the team. Fisher is currently seventh on the league's list of top scorers. He has very reliable stats this season: 14.3ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.8apg, 2FGP: 45.4%, 3FGP: 37.6% and FT: 82.3%. Fisher is a naturalized American. Despite he played previously for the USA university national team, Fisher is currently a member of the Georgian senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Georgia.

Nikoloz Tskitishvili
Nikoloz Tskitishvili

He recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points and getting 12 rebounds. Tskitishvili also added 5 assists. Champville (15-8) is placed third in the Division A. There are only two games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game is very crucial. Tskitishvili is currently fourth on the league's list of best rebounders and also on the list of best blockers (second place). He has individually a very good season with high stats. Tskitishvili averages: 18.6ppg, 11.4rpg, 2.2apg and 2.0bpg. He used to play for the Georgian national team back in 2011.

#6. Small forward Viktor Sanikidze (203-86, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to help Montepaschi Siena (7-5) in their game against Besiktas (1-11) in the Euroleague. Sanikidze cannot count Friday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points in 20 minutes. The fifth-placed Montepaschi Siena was edged 72-70 in Istanbul by the lower-ranked (#8) Besiktas in the group F of Euroleague. It was Montepaschi Siena's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Top 16. So now every game will be important. This year Sanikidze's total stats are: 5.5ppg and 5.2rpg in the 22 games.
