I wanted to kind of turn the table over for this blog a little bit. Some people know where Kansas city is and others don't. But frankly the town produce just straight raw talent. Regardless or not if some highly respectable scout or agent want to pay homage, you just have to sigh and give us props. In the town we all know that it's a tough place to grow up from. People might even say that it's not much to do to keep ones mind busy. But that's the reason why we are so hungry to succeed at any and everything we put our mind too. Got players in the NBA, to Euroleague to Eurocup to even smaller leagues we are everywhere putting a stamp on basketball. I'm sure one might proclaim they have 20 to 30 friends, but I doubt if they have 20 close friends doing the same profession as they are. It makes me proud that I can wake up any giving day and check Eurobasket and see my guys putting on for the town. Simply just a blessing. You see one of your guys tearing a league up it makes you try even harder to do the same. I sound like a veteran right now (lol) but its true. Just wanted to take the time out to congratulate my guy Leo for winning player of the week this week for Budivelnyk in Ukraine. Got a few more of those to get to catch me, but I applaud your efforts son lol. Also want to applaud my guy Day for making a nice push this half of the season in Switzerland. Stay with it and continue to stay focus. And lastly one love to Fletch for bullying his way in the top ten in scoring now in Holland. Many more guys out there but I'm going to keep this blog short. Getting ready for a highly anticipated home game vs. Dinamo at our place. Should be a sight to see. Looking to break another record for scoring this week if gods willing. Grind Time!

Giorgi Shermadini (216-C-89) became a EuroLeague champion as his Olympiacos celebrated the second straight EuroLeague title. They outgunned Real Madrid in an exciting clash at O2 Arena in London. Giorgi Shermadini (216-C-89) became a EuroLeague champion as his Olympiacos celebrated the second straight EuroLeague title. They outgunned Real Madrid in an exciting clash at O2 Arena in London. Vassilis Spanoulis came up with 22 points to pace the Hellenes to the historic success. The Reds entered the EuroLeague Final Four as underdogs but proved a tough nut to crack edging big time favourites CSKA in the semis and then Real Madrid in the Final. Real Madrid looked dominant at every end of the floor in the opening quarter. The Spanish team got to a flying start building a 27:10 lead after ten minutes. But Olympiacos once again showed their character. They opened the second frame on a 12:2 rally. Sloukas capped the first half with three points to put Olympiacos within 4 points 37:41. Vassilis Spanoulis drained back-to-back three-pointers early in the third term to give the Reds a 45:43 lead. Kyle Hines and Acie Law made it 52:46 for Olympiacos midway through the third term. Real however did not allow the Reds to pull away entering the fourth frame all tied at 61. The Greek team opened the fourth frame on a 9:1 run to ensure a 70:62 advantage. Marcus Slaughter received a technical foul midway through the period and Olympiacos punished Real with a 6:0 run to extend the lead to 14 points 84:70. Sergio Rodriguez dragged the Madrid outfit within 8 points 79:87 but Vassilis Spanoulis reacted with a timely three-pointer and Olympiacos cruised to the victory from there on. Acie Law provided 20 points, while Kyle Hines netted 12 points for the winners. Giorgi Shermadini delivered 3 points, made 1 rebound and 2 assists. Rudy Fernandez responded with 21 points for Real Madrid. Sergio Rodriguez added 17 points in the loss.

MIA shot 62.3 percent from the field. MIA outrebounded Kutaisi 29-18 including 21 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for MIA especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for American guard Darren Moore (190-89, college: Cal-Irvine) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Levan Fatsatsia (198-88) contributed with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. International Besik Lezhava (192-86) answered with 19 points and 7 rebounds and the former international point guard Giorgi Gamqrelidze (183-86, agency: FCM) added 9 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Armia.
