24 personal fouls committed by MIA helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Buba Kvimsadze (195-82) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points. International center Richard Matiashvili (207-89) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Kutaisi players scored in double figures. American point guard Deonta Vaughn (185-86, college: Cincinnati) replied with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import swingman Benjamin Raymond (198-87, college: Xavier, agency: KMG Sports Management) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for MIA. MIA's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Brose Baskets Bamberg (BBL) will land 32-year old Georgian guard Richard Hickman (189-88kg-85, college: NC-Greensboro). He has a double citizenship as he also holds American passport. Hickman played most recently at EA7 Armani in Italian Serie A. In 34 games he averaged 10.6ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.8apg and 1.2spg last season.
