MIA dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Sokhumi's 22. They outrebounded Sokhumi 42-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. American center Kirk Archibeque (205-84, college: Fort Lewis) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import swingman Benjamin Raymond (198-87, college: Xavier, agency: KMG Sports Management) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four MIA players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Vakhtang Kadaria (205-89, college: Mineral Area CC) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian guard Bosko Stojakovic (196-84) scored 17 points and 8 assists.

Olimpi outrebounded TSU 54-34 including a 43-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by TSU's players. Montenegrin center Stevan Milosevic (211-85, agency: Interperformances) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Lithuanian forward Martynas Andriukaitis (204-81) accounted for 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Serzhi Aselaini (198-91) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Givi Bakradze (185-91, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) added 13 points and 6 assists respectively for TSU in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

25 personal fouls committed by Armia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Beqa Chikviladze (195-91) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American forward Keyon Carter (203-88, college: ODU, agency: Two Points) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center Giorgi Sharabidze (210-90) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and the former international point guard Giorgi Gamqrelidze (183-86, agency: FCM) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists in the effort for Armia.

P.S. The game between Kutaisi and Rustavi got cancelled after about 8 minutes. The first game was decided to be played in Kutasi and then 1 or 2 games at Rustavi home court if needed.

Umana Reyer Venezia (Serie A) re-signed 31-year old Georgian international point guard Marquez Haynes (191-84kg-86, college: Texas Arlington). MoraBanc Andorra (Liga Endesa) confirmed in their roster 23-year old Georgian international power forward Beka Burjanadze (201-118kg-94). He played there last season. In 29 Liga Endesa games he had 10.3ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.2apg. Amistad Sucre (Libobasquet) signed 27-year old American center John Florveus (211-109kg-90, college: Georgia, agency: Elevate Agency). He played last season at Cactus Tbilisi in Georgian Superleague.
