Holland U18-Georgia U18 71:60

Holland improved to 2-0 record in Group B of the U18 European Championship. The Dutch side posted a 71:60 victory over Georgia in Day 2. The latter meanwhile fell at 0-2 record.
Holland scored 19 points in the first period and added the same number of points in the second frame. It was enough to take 38:25 lead after the first two quarters. Georgia remained alive in the game after a 17-14 rally in the third period, but Holland needed a final 19-18 rally to seal the victory.
Daan Rosenmuller (193-SF-95) top-scored for the winners with 20 points and Julius van Sauers (196-F-95) collected 12 points and 10 rebounds. Jaron Dijkhuizen (195-PF-95) and Pim De Vries (193-G-95) followed them with 9 points each. Kakhaber Tomaradze (193-SG-95) scored 13 points for Georgia and Luka Zakradze (187-PG-96) notched 10. Maizer Revazashvili (202-C-96) poured in 7, whilst Aleksandre Bolkvadze (194-SF-95) and Sandro Sanadze (188-PG-95) delivered 6 apiece.

Point guard Rob Woodson (180-PG, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) put on an amazing game in the last round for Sokhumi and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 27. He had a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Batumi (#7, 9-18) 83-77. Sokhumi maintains the 5th position in Georgian league. There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Superleague. Sixth-ranked Olimpi (9-17) was very close to win a game against fourth ranked Cactus Tbilisi (13-14) on Saturday. Cactus Tbilisi managed to secure only three-point victory 82-79. However their fans expected easier game. Davit Maisuradze (205-C/F-90) had a great game in the last round for SEU Tbilisi and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com A League Player of the Week award for round 14. The 26-year old had the game-high 57 points adding eight rebounds and five assists for SEU Tbilisi in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Tskaltubo (#5, 5-9) with 27-point margin 109-82.
