Norway keep Georgia winless at the U18 European Championship in Division B. Norway needed an 80:67 win to finish Group B with 2-3 record. Georgia meanwhile lost all five games.
Georgia looked better in the first half and managed to win both periods. They started with 21-15 and added 20-19 rally in the second frame. Norway replied with a 21-19 run in the third period and dominated the last quarter. They posted a massive 25-7 surge to seal the victory.
Johannes Dolven (197-PF-96) top-scored for the winners with 24 points and 15 rebounds, while Mikkel Kolstad (184-G-95) nailed 21. Sjur Berg (198-F-96) collected 12 points and 11 rebounds, whilst Even Skjellaug (190-G-95) had 8. Luka Zakradze (187-PG-96) replied with 13 points in defeat and Aleksandre Bolkvadze (195-SF-95) brought 11. Archili Puluzashvili (200-C-95) notched 9, whilst Maizer Revazashvili (202-C-96) and Sandro Sanadze (188-PG-95) had 8 apiece.

The 3rd place holder of the Superleague 2017 is Rustavi. They defeated Cactus 93:85 and got the hit. The fate of the game was decided in the last period, but until then it was an equal game, changing the lead back and forth. In the 3rd period Rustavi managed to skip the difference in the score, as Cactus dominated before. They wasted the advantage and Rustavi played a more solid defensive style. Defending champion Real Madrid (Liga Endesa) is considering to sign 26-year old Georgian forward Tornike Shengelia (206-100kg-91) who currently plays Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz.
