Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Georgians who are currently playing abroad.

Viktor Sanikidze
Viktor Sanikidze
#1. This week's number one is an international small forward Viktor Sanikidze (203-86, currently plays in Italy). He led Montepaschi Siena to a victory against the closely-ranked Armani Milano (19-11) 90-80 in the Italian SerieA in Wednesday night's game. Sanikidze recorded 17 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 30 minutes on the court. Montepaschi Siena (18-12) is placed fifth in the SerieA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Sanikidze averages: 6.3ppg, 5.1rpg, 2FGP: 58.9%(63-107), 3FGP: 40.4% and FT: 66.7% in the 36 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Georgian senior national team.

Corey Fisher
Corey Fisher
#2. Second place goes to an international point guard Corey Fisher (186-88, agency: Beo Basket, college: Villanova, currently plays in Spain). He led FIATC Joventut to a victory over the closely-ranked Asefa Estudiantes (15-19) crushing them 112-75 in the Spanish ACB on Sunday night. Fisher was MVP of the game. He recorded 26 points (!!!) and added 9 passes in 22 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Fisher's second season in pro basketball. FIATC Joventut Badalona (16-18) is placed 11th in the ACB. The Regular Season already ended. It's Fisher's first year with the team. Fisher is currently ninth on the list of top scorers with 13.8ppg. This year his other stats are: 2.1rpg, 2.7apg, 2FGP: 44.4%, 3FGP: 36.3% and FT: 83.3% in the 32 games. Fisher is a naturalized American. Despite he played previously for the USA university national team, Fisher is currently a member of the Georgian senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Georgia.

Georgi Tsintsadze
Georgi Tsintsadze
#3. The Georgian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Georgi Tsintsadze (192-86, currently plays in Ukraine), who plays in the Ukrainian Superleague. Tsintsadze could not help Budivelnyk (28-11) in their last game on Monday. Despite his good performance the league leader Budivelnyk was defeated 86-74 on the road by the lower-ranked Azovmash (#3). Tsintsadze was the second best scorer with 13 points. He also added 7 assists. Tsintsadze's overall stats this season are: 9.0ppg, 2.9rpg, 3.9apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 45.6%, 3FGP: 32.9% and FT: 77.2%. He is also a member of the Georgian senior national team.

Manuchar Markoishvili
Manuchar Markoishvili
#4. Small forward Manuchar Markoishvili (196-86, currently plays in Turkey) contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Tofas (12-18) crushing them 82-49 in the Turkish TBL on Tuesday night. He scored 9 points and had 5 steals. Galatasaray Medical Park Istanbul (27-3) is placed first in the TBL. It was his team's 17th consecutive victory in a row. Markoishvili is ranked second on the list of the most steals in the league. His overall stats this season are: 9.9ppg, 1.8rpg, 1.1apg and 1.7spg. Markoishvili is also Georgian national team player.

The list of other players, who all have Georgian passport but never been selected to any of Georgian national teams:

#1. Quinton Hosley (201-F/G-84, college: Fresno St., currently plays in Poland) was the major contributor in a Stelmet ZG's victory against the leader AZS Koszalin (18-14) 89-83 in the Polish TBL last Tuesday. Hosley scored 16 points, grabbed 6 boards, handed out 3 passes and blocked 3 shots. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-6. Stelmet Zielona Gora (20-12) is placed third. It's Hosley's first season with the team. Hosley is ranked sixth on the list of the top scorers in the league and also on the list of most steals (first place). He has individually a very good season with high stats. Hosley averages: 15.3ppg, 5.4rpg, 2.6apg and 2.4spg. He is a naturalized American. Strangely Hosley has never played in Georgia.

#2. Will Thomas (203-PF-86, currently plays in Turkey) contributed to Karsiyaka's victory against the closely-ranked Fenerbahce Ulker (24-6) 74-68 in the Turkish TBL last Saturday. Thomas recorded 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 20 minutes. Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir (23-7) is placed fifth in the TBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Thomas has relatively good stats this year: 12.0ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.3apg in the 27 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American.
