Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Germans who are currently playing abroad.

Dirk Nowitzki
Dirk Nowitzki
#1. This week's number one is an experienced former international forward Dirk Nowitzki (213-78, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Dallas Mavericks (32-35) in their last game. Despite Nowitzki's very good performance the Dallas Mavericks were edged 92-91 on the road by the San Antonio Spurs. He had a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 11 rebounds. Nowitzki also added 3 assists and 3 steals (made all of his six free throws) in 35 minutes on the court. It's Nowitzki's 15th season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Nowitzki averages: 16.4ppg, 6.9rpg, 2.6apg, 2FGP: 45.6%, 3FGP: 43.9% and FT: 85.5% in the 38 games he played so far. He played for the German senior national team two years ago.

Tibor Pleiss
Tibor Pleiss
#2. Second place goes to an international center Tibor Pleiss (215-89, currently plays in Euroleague). Pleiss led his Spanish team Caja Laboral to a victory over the seventh-ranked Fenerbahce Ulker (2-9) crushing them 87-67 in the Euroleague last Thursday. He was MVP of the game. Pleiss scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Caja Laboral Vitoria (6-5) is placed fifth in group F. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Top 16. So now every game will be critical. Pleiss' overall stats this season are: 5.1ppg, 3.9rpg, 2FGP: 61.0%(36-59) and FT: 88.9%. He is in the roster of the German senior national team.

Chris Kaman
Chris Kaman
#3. The German player who performed third best last week abroad was former international center Chris Kaman (213-82, college: Cent.Michigan, currently plays in NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Dirk Nowitzki. But that was another game of his team in NBA which we would like to mention. Kaman contributed to a Dallas Mavericks' victory against the Atlanta Hawks (37-30) 127-113. He scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 21 minutes. The Dallas Mavericks have 32-35 record this season. It's Kaman's first year with the team. Kaman has very impressive stats this year: 11.1ppg, 5.6rpg, 2FGP: 50.9% and FT: 78.8% in the 53 games. He is a naturalized American. Kaman played for the German national team two years ago. Strangely he has never played in Germany.

Patrick Heckmann
Patrick Heckmann
#4. Shooting guard Patrick Heckmann (196-92, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA was not able to help the Boston Coll. (7-11) in their last game. Despite Heckmann's very good performance the Boston Coll. lost 58-69 in Miami, FL to the University of Miami, Florida. He scored 15 points in 27 minutes. They ended the series of four consecutive victories. The Regular Season already ended in the NCAA. Heckmann has relatively good stats this year: 11.4ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1spg in the 20 games. He is also German national team player.

Kevin Bright
Kevin Bright
   #5.
