Noemie
Rouault
Talented Noemie Rouault (180-F-95) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best Berlin and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com 2.Bundesliga Player of the Week award for round 18.
The 17-year old forward had a double-double of 25 points and fifteen rebounds, while her team outclassed Hannover (#11, 4-14) with 45-point margin 94-49. Berlin maintains the 2nd position in German 2.Bundesliga. They are still close to the very top. Berlin would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 15-3 record. It's Rouault's second year at Berlin and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Rouault has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 11.2rpg) and averages solid 55.6% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 27-year old American point guard Serena Benavente (167-PG-85) of second-ranked Heidelberg. Benavente impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 13 points and 11 assists. Of course she lead Heidelberg to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Wuerzburg (#6, 9-7) 83-46. This victory allowed Heidelberg to move up to second position in South. Her team's 10-6 record is not bad at all. Benavente is one of the most experienced players at Heidelberg and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Ama Degbeon (183-F-95) of Gruenberg (#3). Degbeon scored 18 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Gruenberg, leading her team to a 89-45 easy win against the lower-ranked Rhein MB II (#12, 3-15). Gruenberg needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in North. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 7 lost games. Degbeon has a great season in Germany. After 15 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.3rpg (5th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Emma Duinker (182-G/F-89) of Speyer - 41 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Lisa Koop (197-C-85) of Keltern - 23 points and 12 rebounds
6. Eryn Jones (172-G-90) of Chemnitz - 27 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Gabriela Jandova (190-C-73) of Mainz - 23 points and 8 rebounds
8. Brittany Moore (168-G-89) of Quakenbrueck - 29 points and 4 rebounds
9. Finja Schaake (179-F-92) of Gruenberg - 20 points and 6 rebounds
10. Daniela Vogel (179-F-92) of Berlin - 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
