Oldenburg was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Bayer Giants made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. American point guard Adonte Parker (183-89, college: Dayton) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!) and 5 assists for the winners and his fellow American import Jack Eggleston (203-88, college: Pennsylvania, agency: Pro One Sports) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Michael Taylor (193-87, college: Whitworth) responded with 22 points and 9 assists and naturalized American center Chris Heinrich (208-77, college: St.Louis) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Oldenburg players scored in double figures. Oldenburg's coach Mladen Drijencic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

American forward Jason Swanson (201-86, college: W.Alabama) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import guard Jermale Jones (186-86, college: Tuskegee) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Five Licher Baeren players scored in double figures.

The game without a history. SG Schwelmer Baskets led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 27-of-34 free shots (79.4 percent) during the game. SG Schwelmer Baskets looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Leitershofen was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for American Julius Coles (193-89, college: Canisius) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Lars Wendt (190-92, agency: Limelight Hoops) contributed with 18 points and 5 assists for the winners. Center Richard Froehlich (206-86, college: UTSA) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and American guard James Washington (182-87, college: Middle Tenn.St., agency: FCM) added 17 points and 5 assists in the effort for Leitershofen. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

The game was mostly controlled by BSW Sixers. Dragons Rhoendorf managed to win fourth quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BSW Sixers dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Dragons Rhoendorf's 28. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jeremie Simmons (188, college: Ohio St., agency: SDJ Sports) who helped to win the game recording 23 points. Swingman Tom Lipke (194-86, agency: Court Side) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners. Florian Koch (197-92) answered with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Latvian Edmunds Tukiss (200-89) added 14 points in the effort for Dragons Rhoendorf. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
