Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Germans who are currently playing abroad.

Romy Baer
Romy Baer
#1. This week's number one is an international forward Romy Baer (187-87, currently plays in France), who plays in the French LFB. She could not help Lyon (12-9) in their last game. Despite Baer's very good performance Lyon lost 61-66 on the road to the leading Lattes Montpellier. She was the top scorer with 20 points. Baer also added 5 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 36 minutes on the court. This year Baer averages: 7.4ppg, 3.7rpg, 2.1apg, 1.9spg, 2FGP: 36.2%, 3FGP: 30.2% and FT: 85.7% in the 21 games she played so far. She is currently a member of the German senior national team.

Lea Mersch
Lea Mersch
#2. Second place goes to former international guard Lea Mersch (170-87, currently plays in Czech Republic). Mersch was the major contributor in a DSK Karlin's victory against the fourth-ranked BK Pliska Studanka (2-22) 64-54 in the Czech Republic ZBL last Sunday. She scored 14 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists. DSK Basketball Karlin (6-18) is placed third in A3 group. There are only four games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. It's Mersch's first season with the team. Mersch's overall stats this year are: 6.2ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 36.8% and FT: 62.7%. She played for the German national team in 2011.

Petra Glaser
Petra Glaser
#3. The German player who performed third best last week abroad was former international power forward Petra Glaser (196-81, college: Long Beach St., currently plays in Sweden). Glaser contributed to Kvarnby's victory against the fourth-ranked Visby Ladies (1-4) 81-69 in the Swedish Damligan on Wednesday night. She scored 8 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 32 minutes. Kvarnby BBK (3-2) is placed second in Group 2. They ended the series of five consecutive loses. Glaser's team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And now that game is very crucial. Glaser has relatively good stats this year: 12.6ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.9apg, 2FGP: 48.3%, 3FGP: 7.1% and FT: 82.1% in the 24 games. She played for the German national team two years ago.
