Poland - Greece 57:56

Greece will play at the 2015 EuroBasket. The Hellenes protected a 15-point lead after the first game to defeat Poland on aggregate in the 2015 EuroBasket Qualifying Round Final. Poland had a mounting to climb to after losing by double digits in Greece. And they did not seem any closer to the goal after the opening quarter. Greece and Poland were tied at 12-all after ten minutes. Poland finally found the touch in the second period. The hosts increased the tempo firing 23 points and taking a 7-point halftime lead. But Greece reacted immediately. They stiffened defensively in the third term allowing Poland just 8 points. The Hellenes capitalized tying things up at 43 after three quarters. Spanou put the visitors in front 49:47 midway through the fourth frame as Greece looked on a safe path now. Skobel capped the regulation with four straight points to give Poland victory but it was not enough at the end. Agnieszka Szott-Hejmej (185-F-82, agency: Data Plus Group) produced 14 points to lead Poland. Joanna Walich (183-F/C-81) added 11 points for the winners. Katerina Sotiriou (186-F-84, agency: FCM) answered with 17 points for Greece. Peli Papamichail (189-F/C-86, agency: Josep and Nicolas) had 14 points in the loss.

Poland: Agnieszka Szott-Hejmej 14, Joanna Walich 11, Magdalena Skorek 11
Greece: Katerina Sotiriou 17, Peli Papamichail 14
