The Regular Season in A1 just ended. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with derby games and games ending by tiny margin.
An interesting game for Panathinaikos (22-4) which played road game in Thessaloniki against 4th ranked PAOK (17-9). Second ranked Panathinaikos managed to get a 10-point victory 71-61. The best player for the winners was Landon Milbourne who scored 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The game in Patra was also quite interesting. Second ranked Panathinaikos (22-4) played at the court of 8th ranked Apollon Patras (11-15). There were no big surprises in other games of round 26: Ilysiakos was beaten by Peristeri GS on the road 83-82. Kolossos lost to Aris on its own court 82-99. Panelefsiniakos was outscored by KAOD in Dramas 77-101. Bottom-ranked Kavala recorded a loss to AGOR at home 80-82. Bottom-ranked Kavala was crushed by Panathinaikos on the opponent's court 95-73. The most impressive performance of 26th round was 28 points and 8 rebounds by Marc Antonio Carter of AGOR.

He was a member of USA Senior National Team back in 2001. Banks has played previously for five other NBA teams: Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Toronto Raptors and Minnesota Timberwolves. Strong body and good scorer but inconsistent shooter and true height is a concern. Has tremendous speed and quickness, and good passing skills, but is too much up-and-down performing to earn a starting spot at NBA level. Needs also to learn to play a slow-tempo game.
