We bring you last week's top performances from Greeks who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Zoi Dimitrakou
Zoi Dimitrakou
#1. This week's number one is former international forward Zoi Dimitrakou (188-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TKBL. She could not help Kayseri (19-7) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Dimitrakou's good performance Kayseri was defeated 71-63 at home by the leading Fenerbahce. She was the second best scorer with 11 points. Dimitrakou's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Dimitrakou's first season with the team. She has relatively good stats this year: 13.8ppg, 4.4rpg, 2.0apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 66.7%(32-48), 3FGP: 44.4% and FT: 64.7%. Dimitrakou played for the Greek senior national team four years ago.

Evanthia Maltsi
Evanthia Maltsi
#2. Second place goes to an experienced international forward Evanthia Maltsi (180-78, also represented by Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Turkey) is a teammate of previously mentioned Zoi Dimitrakou and both played together in the last Turkish TKBL game. Maltsi. She was not able to help Kayseri (19-7) in their game against Fenerbahce (24-2). Maltsi scored 8 points and added 3 passes in 27 minutes. Kayseri lost 63-71 on their home court in Kayseri to the leading Fenerbahce. This year Maltsi has relatively solid stats: 13.1ppg, 2.9rpg, 3.1apg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 48.3%, 3FGP: 42.2% and FT: 88.7% in the 23 games she played so far. She is in the roster of the Greek senior national team.

Katerina Sotiriou
Katerina Sotiriou
#3. The Greek player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Katerina Sotiriou (186-84, agency: FCM, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish LFB. Sotiriou was not able to secure a victory for Navarra Pamplona (8-12) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite her good performance Navarra Pamplona was defeated 64-56 on the road by the higher-ranked Argon Uni Girona (#3). Sotiriou recorded 10 points. This season Sotiriou averages: 6.8ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.1apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 31.5%, 3FGP: 32.7% and FT: 77.3%. She is also a member of the Greek senior national team.

Anna Spyridopoulou
Anna Spyridopoulou
#4. Forward Anna Spyridopoulou (184-88, currently plays in Sweden) couldn't help Solna Vikings (21-11) in their game against Norrkoping Dolphins (23-13) in the Swedish Damligan. She did not beat the league record on Wednesday evening. Spyridopoulou recorded only 2 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. The third-placed Solna Vikings was defeated 66-57 in Norrkoping by the lower-ranked Dolphins (#4) in the Group 1. Spyridopoulou's overall stats this season are: 8.6ppg, 6.8rpg and 2.0apg. She used to play for the Greek national team back in 2011.

The list of other players, who all have Greek passport but never been selected to any of Greek national teams:

#1. Experienced Katie Douglas (185-G/F-79, college: Purdue, currently plays in Russia), who plays in the Russian PBL could not help Dynamo Kursk (11-7) in their last game. Despite her very good performance Dynamo Kursk lost 82-87 on the road to the second-ranked Spartak Vidnoye. Douglas was the top scorer with 21 points. She also added 5 rebounds in 21 minutes. It was Dynamo Kursk's third consecutive loss in a row. Douglas' team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
