There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Eredivisie.

Round 19 in Eredivisie means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Landsmeer where host ProBuild Lions (13-6) beat league's leader Binnenland (13-6) 74-66 on Saturday evening. It was a key game for the top position in the league. ProBuild Lions forced 23 Binnenland turnovers. American guard Molly McDowell (178-81, college: S.Illinois) fired 23 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Her fellow American import guard Katie Bussey (175-90, college: Montana St.) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds. The former international guard Rachel Roubehie-Fissa (175-89) produced 18 points and 4 assists for lost side. ProBuild Lions have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Binnenland. Binnenland lost third consecutive game. Binnenland will play next round against Den Helder trying to make it back to the top of the standings. ProBuild Lions will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Grasshoppers in Katwijk.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Amsterdam. Local CTO (11-8) outscored 6th ranked Den Helder (5-14) 101-67. CTO have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 11-8 record having just two points less than leader ProBuild Lions. Den Helder at the other side stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. CTO will play against Lekdetec.nl (#4) in Bemmel in the next round. Den Helder will play on the road against the league's second-placed Binnenland in Rotterdam and hopes to get back on the winning track.

In the last game of round 19 Grasshoppers was defeated by Lekdetec.nl in Bemmel 89-72.
The best stats of 19th round was 25 points and 4 assists by Anouk Biesters of Lekdetec.nl.


Lekdetec.nl - Grasshoppers 89-72

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Grasshoppers' (6-13) road loss to fourth ranked Lekdetec.nl (9-10) 72-89. Lekdetec.nl players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Grasshoppers' players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Anouk Biesters (182-86) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 4 assists. Lisanne de Jonge (180-95) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Lekdetec.nl players scored in double figures. Power forward Ingrid Van der Plas (178-91) answered with 16 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Natalie Van Den Adel (185-90, college: Colorado St.) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Grasshoppers. Grasshoppers' coach Ivo Boom rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Lekdetec.nl maintains fourth place with 9-10 record. Grasshoppers lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 13 games lost. Lekdetec.nl will play against higher ranked CTO (#3) in Amsterdam in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Grasshoppers will play at home against the league's leader ProBuild Lions in Landsmeer and hope to get back on the winning track.

23-year old forward Camilla Neumann (181-F-94) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3. She had a double-double of 24 points and 17 rebounds, while her team crushed CTO with 20-point margin 76-56. The game was between two of the league's top four teams.
