The Regular Season in Eredivisie just ended.

The most important game in the last round took place in Rotterdam between second ranked Binnenland (13-7) and sixth ranked Den Helder (6-14) on Saturday night. Binnenland was defeated by Den Helder at home 49-62. International guard Maaike Klein (177-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 6 rebounds. The former international center Marloes Roetgerink (187-77) contributed with 7 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. International forward Leonie Kooij (187-86) replied with 13 points and 6 rebounds for Binnenland. Binnenland's coach Joost van Rangelrooy rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Den Helder moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Grasshoppers. Binnenland lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the second position with seven games lost.
An interesting game for CTO (12-8) which hosted in Amsterdam one of their biggest challengers Lekdetec.nl (9-11). Third ranked CTO managed to get a 12-point victory 78-66. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lekdetec.nl. Worth to mention a great performance of Isabella Slim (181-95) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds and Loyce Bettonvil who added 18 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. The former international center Sharon Lammerink (189-93) responded with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. CTO have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 12-8 record having just two points less than leader ProBuild Lions. Lekdetec.nl at the other side keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost.
Eredivisie top team - ProBuild Lions (14-6) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Grasshoppers (6-14) in Katwijk 85-74. The winners were led by Katie Bussey who scored that evening 39 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Even a double-double of 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists by Sonja Kuijt did not help to save the game for Grasshoppers. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. ProBuild Lions have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-6 record. Grasshoppers lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Den Helder.

Nothing like traveling some 7,000 miles to break out of a shooting slump. Kia Nurse (6'0''-G-96) won a gold medal at the FIBA AmeriCup 2017 Sunday with the Canadian national team but in six tournament games shot just 28.1 percent from the floor including 21.9 percent from 3-point land.
