The games are now more important than at the beginning of the Regular Season. We may still expect few shocking results in upcoming 4 rounds. Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

The most important game in the last round took place in Weert between second ranked Leiden (24-7) and eighth ranked Weert (14-18) on Tuesday night. Leiden was defeated by Weert on the road 84-73. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Leiden. The game was mostly controlled by Weert. Leiden managed to win second period 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Weert looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American center Antwan Carter (198, college: Longwood, agency: Court Side) scored 19 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Kenneth van Kempen (208-87, college: Ohio, agency: Court Side) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was international Worthy de Jong (194-88, agency: R.H.Consultancy) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Weert maintains eighth position with 14-18 record. Leiden at the other side keeps the second place with seven games lost. Weert are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Rotterdam (#10) on the road in the next round. Leiden will play against Den Helder K. (#6) and is hoping to win this game.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Den Bosch. First ranked host Den Bosch (26-5) smashed 3rd ranked Groningen (22-10) 92-44. American guard Dejuan Wright (190-88, college: FIU, agency: Court Side) notched 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Matt Bauscher supported him with 17 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Den Bosch's coach Raoul Korner felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 8 points and 7 rebounds by Surinamese forward Sergio de Randamie (201-84, college: Houston, agency: R.H.Consultancy) did not help to save the game for Groningen. Defending champion maintains first position with 26-5 record. Groningen at the other side keeps the third place with ten games lost. Den Bosch will play against Amsterdam (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
