There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Eredivisie.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Den Bosch (28-6) on the court of fifth ranked Leeuwarden on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Leeuwarden 96-76. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Den Bosch. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 96-76. Leeuwarden looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by Den Bosch helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Samme Givens (195, college: Drexel) stepped up and scored 23 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners and guard Robert Holcomb Faye (185-84, college: Radford) chipped in 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was guard Andre Young (175-90, college: Clemson) with 24 points. Leeuwarden (19-16) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Zwolle. Defending champion Den Bosch still keeps top position with six games lost. Leeuwarden is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Rotterdam (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Den Bosch will play against Zwolle (#4) and is hoping to win this game.
The game in Nijmegen was also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Den Helder K. (17-18) played at the court of eighth ranked M.Magixx (16-19). M.Magixx defeated Den Helder K. 77-67. British forward Shane Walker (208-87, college: Loyola, MD) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and Marcel Aarts accounted for 9 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Mark Hill (180-87, college: CS Northridge, agency: Three Eye Sports) came up with 18 points for Den Helder K. in the defeat. M.Magixx moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Weert. Den Helder K. at the other side keeps the sixth position with 18 games lost. M.Magixx will play against Amsterdam (#9) on the road in the next round. Den Helder K. will play against Weert and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Second ranked Leiden (27-8) crushed at home 7th ranked Weert (16-19) by 33 points 91-58, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Weert. The best player for the winners was Ross Bekkering who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Rahmon Fletcher who recorded 18 points. Leiden maintains second place with 27-8 record behind leader Den Bosch. Loser Weert keeps the seventh position with 19 games lost. They share it with M.Magixx. Leiden will meet Groningen (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Weert will play against Den Helder K. (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 33 Amsterdam was destroyed by Groningen on the opponent's court 83-57. Bottom-ranked Rotterdam unfortunately lost to Zwolle in a home game 80-94.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 29 points and 19 rebounds by Cameron Echols of Rotterdam.


M.Magixx - Den Helder K. 77-67

The game in Nijmegen was also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Den Helder K. (17-18) played at the court of eighth ranked M.Magixx (16-19). M.Magixx defeated Den Helder K. 77-67. The game was mostly controlled by M.Magixx. Den Helder K. was better in third quarter 20-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Den Helder K. 44-24 including 19 on the offensive glass. Den Helder K. was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. British forward Shane Walker (208-87, college: Loyola, MD) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and the former international center Marcel Aarts (213-83, agency: R.H.Consultancy) accounted for 9 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Mark Hill (180-87, college: CS Northridge, agency: Three Eye Sports) came up with 18 points and forward Jan van der Kooij (198-90, college: Longwood, agency: Court Side) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Den Helder K. in the defeat. M.Magixx moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Weert. Den Helder K. at the other side keeps the sixth position with 18 games lost. Very expected game when 9th ranked Amsterdam (4-31) was crushed on the road by third ranked Groningen (24-10) 83-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. Groningen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Amsterdam's 30. They outrebounded Amsterdam 50-33 including a 25-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Jamal Boykin (203-87, college: California) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. The former international center Thomas Koenis (206-89, agency: Court Side) chipped in 9 points and 13 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Maurits Pieper (198-90) who recorded 15 points and 7 rebounds and center Berend Weijs (208, college: Maryland) added 12 points, 10 rebounds and 7 blocks respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Groningen have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 24-10 record having four points less than leader Den Bosch. Amsterdam lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 31 games lost. Groningen will meet at home league's second-placed Leiden in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. The best player for the winners was guard Tanner Smith (195-90, college: Clemson) who scored 28 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Darryl Webb (198-88, college: Indiana, PA, agency: Pro One Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Four Zwolle players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Cameron Echols (203-81, college: Ball St., agency: R.H.Consultancy) who recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points and 19 rebounds and guard Anthony Miles (182-89, college: Lamar, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) added 25 points and 5 assists respectively. Zwolle maintains fourth place with 19-16 record, which they share with Leeuwarden. Rotterdam lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 30 lost games.
