American forward Samme Givens (195-F) had a very impressive game in the last round for Leeuwarden, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 30. The -year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds, while his team crushed Weert (#8, 14-18) with 24-point margin 85-61. Leeuwarden maintains the 5th position in Dutch Eredivisie. Leeuwarden is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 17-15 record. Givens turned to be Leeuwarden's top player in his first season with the team. Former Drexel University star has very solid stats this year. Givens is in league's top in points (7th best: 15.8ppg), rebounds (7th best: 7.8rpg) and averages impressive 63.8% FGP.
The second best player in last round's games was 33-year old American Eric Chatfield (191-G-79) of Rotterdam. Chatfield had a very good evening with 30 points and 9 rebounds. Bad luck as Rotterdam lost that game 88-93 to the higher-ranked M.Magixx (#7, 14-16). Rotterdam are still at the very bottom. 28 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Rotterdam managed to get this year. Chatfield is a newcomer at Rotterdam, but is already one of team's top players.
Third on the list of top players last round was former international Nick Oudendag (210-C/F-87) of M.Magixx (#7). Oudendag scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was a key player of M.Magixx, leading his team to a 93-88 win against the lower-ranked Rotterdam (#10, 3-28). The chances of M.Magixx ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 16 games, recording just fourteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Oudendag could help M.Magixx to bring them higher in the standings. Oudendag has a very solid season. In 29 games in Holland he scored 11.6ppg. He also has 5.6rpg and FGP: 54.0%.

Orcas takes Promotiedivisie title as they won the Final game against Binnenland. The Winner of the Regular Season posted a 74:53 win and dominated the Promotiedivisie. In the Semifinals games Orcas beat Cangeroes 78:72, but lost the second game 68:71. Due to the better difference after two games, they managed to advance to the Final. Binnenland meanwhile smashed De Groene 88:55 in Game 1 but then was smashed by the opponents 35:55 and luckily advanced to the Final. In The Final game Binnenland led 8:7, while Orcas closed the first period with a 10-3 run and managed to take 17-11 lead after the first 10 minutes of the game. They improved to 36:26 lead at the halftime and had 51:40 advantage later in the game. Jesper Jobse (203-C/F-84) top-scored for the winners with 22 points. Sander Trommelen (201-F-87) replied with 18 points in the losing effort.

Holcomb Faye is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Dejuan Wright (190-88, college: FIU, agency: Court Side) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds and forward Wil Carter (203-88, college: San Jose St.) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side.
