The Regular Season in Prom.Divisie is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds.

The most exciting game of round 23 in the Prom.Divisie took place in Barendrecht. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-ranked De Groene (20-4) to fourth ranked Binnenland (16-7) 55-53 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of De Groene. Binnenland have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 16-7 record. De Groene at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Binnenland are again looking forward to face league's second-placed De Groene in Groningen in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. De Groene will have a break next round.
Sixth-ranked Rotterdam 2 (11-12) made lots of trouble for third ranked Cangeroes (18-6). The visitors from Utrecht managed to secure only three-point victory 63-60. However their fans expected easier game. Cangeroes have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain third place with 18-6 record having five points less than leader Orca's Urk. Rotterdam 2 at the other side keeps the sixth position with 12 games lost. Cangeroes will play against higher ranked Orca's Urk on the road in the next round. Rotterdam 2 will play against Red Giants (#7) in Meppel and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Leader Orca's Urk delivered the twentieth third victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 11th ranked MSV/Zeemacht (8-16) 78-72. The victory was the eighteenth consecutive win for Orca's Urk. Newly promoted Orca's Urk maintains first place with 23-1 record. MSV/Zeemacht lost their tenth game in a row. MSV/Zeemacht at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Orca's Urk's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Orca's Urk to the arena .

Orca's Urk's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Orca's Urk to the arena .
The game in Meppel was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Binnenland (16-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Red Giants (11-13). Binnenland defeated Red Giants 82-70 on Saturday. The victory was the third consecutive win for Binnenland. They maintain fourth place with 16-7 record. Red Giants lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 13 games lost. Binnenland will face league's second-placed De Groene in Groningen in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Red Giants will play on the road against Rotterdam 2 (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games of round 23 were very predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Red Giants was defeated by Binnenland in Barendrecht 68-57. De Hoppers beat Almonte at home 70-55. BC Apollo 2 lost to Cangeroes on the opponent's court 53-57. De Groene managed to outperform De Hoppers in a home game 83-69. Punch were rolled over Leiden 2 on the road 89-50. MSV/Zeemacht was defeated by Rotterdam 2 on its own court 50-67.
